A match runs for at least 90 minutes, there is most likely 22 players on the field, the grass is mostly green - and who knows who wins? I don’t. It’s this season again: it’s the european football championship..

There’s of course again old habbits popping up: people wearing funny hats, singing stupid songs, TVs everywhere. And also I have my re-occuring habit: every 2-4 years I feel the urge of re-publishing my good old football field wallpaper. Please feel free to re-load it..:]

right in time for the Semifinals of the European Football Championship a new desktop wallpaper is ready: I just added the final Line-Up-Wallpaper to the already existing Worldcup Wallpaper-Set. With this new wallpaper you could for example try out different team line-ups, almost as seen on TV…

The European Football Championship is almost right around corner - and I still did not manage to re-release the Desktop-Wallpaper and the team-shirt-icon-set I did in 2006 for the Football Worldcup. Just like in 2006 I wanted to create at least one team-shirt icon for each team, together with the football field wallpaper it would make a nice desktop decoration - not only (but also) for football fans…:]

I just didn’t find the time yet - but I can almost promise that I will still do ‘the job’ before the European Football Championship 2008 (”UEFA EURO 2008™”…?) will start off on June 7th. I recently received a very nice Email - a visitor of these pages ‘reminded’ me kindly that some of my about 5 years old desktop-wallpaper-pictures were not available in any contemporary screen-resolution.. Back then I just rendered them in these following three different sizes: 1152×768, 1024×768 und 800×600..!!

Anyways - I finally added some pixels here and there and ‘re-rendered’ the three Finland-wallpaper-pictures in ten up-to-date sizes:

PowerBook / MacBook Pro:
1440×900, 1280×854, 1152×768

Monitor / Screen (4×3):
1600×1200, 1280×960, 1280×1024, 1024×768

Studio Display (16×9):
1680×1050, 1280×800, 1024×640
