Very close to Dörpen (by the German-Dutch border) one of the many new coal-fired power plants is about to be built. The 'Clean Energy Movement Dörpen' is working against this.
After my opinion coal-fired power plants have almost the same potential for an environmental super catastrophe as nuclear power plats have - the coal powered catastrophe is just by far more silent and 'unflashy' and goes on for decades.. |
